Last Saturday we had a very great family retreat at the alpaca farm of Christoph von Wodtke! He has a very wonderful farm in Halle, where not only alpacas have found a home! Goats, donkeys, chickens, parrots, turtles, porcupines, kangaroos, ponies and even a camel are also lovingly cared for there by all the staff. To begin with, Christoph and Tim gave us a tour of the farm and the families were able to ask questions about the animals, how they are kept and how they work with them. Of course, feeding and petting the animals was also allowed. After this extensive tour, the alpaca males were already waiting for us for a picnic. With coffee, cake, muffins, fruit and juice we spent a comfortable afternoon in bright sunshine. After our little refreshment, we could help on the farm, make great wooden alpacas with real alpaca wool or just play and exchange ideas. We would like to thank the whole team of "Alpakazeit" from the bottom of our hearts. You have given us and especially our families an unforgettable day! Thank you very much, it's nice that you exist - we will definitely come again!
