We now make a steadily growing proportion of our purchases via the Internet. Thanks to charity shopping, this can be combined with a donation that you don't even have to pay for yourself. Charity shopping is not yet particularly widespread, although the personal effort required to use it is very small.
Instead of carrying out one's purchase directly at an online store such as amazon, expedia, etc., one goes to a special portal and there selects the desired provider and our association, as it is to benefit from the action. From here, one is redirected to the store page and can store as usual - at the same conditions and prices as for direct purchase. For each purchase via the charity shopping portal, the store pays a commission to the portal, which flows proportionately to the charitable organizations. Some people are familiar with this procedure from various cashback programs. The only difference is that you don't keep the commission yourself, but donate it directly.
