It has now become a tradition in Halle: Once a year, our Verein zur Förderung krebskranker Kinder Halle/Saale e.V. organizes a large charity summer festival with a colourful supporting programme to raise funds and draw attention to itself and its work with children with cancer and their families.
On Saturday, June 8, 2024, this year's festival was opened at 11 a.m. on the market square in Halle by our CEO Andreas Domaske.
An entertaining stage program with many different dance and singing acts invited young and old to linger for a piece of cake or a cup of coffee in the beautiful sunshine. All younger guests were able to let off steam on the bouncy castle, the Papenburg children's construction site or with the Halle-Neustadt youth fire department, while the arts and crafts stand and face painting for children were colorful and creative. Many lucky winners were able to enjoy books, toys, craft materials and vouchers at our raffle.
The well-known Jolinchen cuddly toys could be purchased at the AOK stand in return for a donation to our association. This campaign raised a total of € 630.
