After two years of forced break, our 26th Benefit Summer Party could finally take place last Saturday on the market square in Halle. The summer festival is the biggest public event of the association and takes place once a year. Thanks to the great support of the employees of the company "DELL" and the team of the youth fire department Halle-Neustadt, the setup was done in a short time. Punctually at 11 o'clock our moderator Udo Becker, the chairman of the board Andreas Domaske, the managing director Gabriele Arndt and Mrs. Dr. Marquardt, alderwoman of the city of Halle in the area of culture and sports, opened this year's benefit summer festival. The girls from the Hip-Hop AG of the Heinrich-Heine Gesamtschule kicked off this year's varied stage program. Under the direction of Nadine Haak, the unicorn group of the Hettstedt carnival society "Neudorfer Narren" danced afterwards. For many years now, they have been supporting not only our benefit summer festival, but also our association. We are incredibly grateful for this! The dance house "ad libitum" showed a very great program and also singer Jan Nossek inspired the visitors with his great voice. Between the program points, the visitors could pass the time at our many different booths. At the coffee and cake stand there were all kinds of goodies, which were provided by the bakery Weidner, the bakery Lampe, the bakery Schäfer and many volunteers. At this point we would like to say a very big thank you to all the bakeries who supported us with an insane selection of delicious cakes and great pastries. At our raffle you could win great prizes for only one Euro per ticket. Since every ticket was guaranteed with a prize, no one had to leave empty-handed. At this point we would like to say a big thank you to Mr. Johae from the butcher's shop "Zappendorfer", who supported us with a barbecue voucher, many thanks to Mr. Langnickel from the Belantis Park, who provided us with family tickets, the Maya mare also donated tickets for our raffle. Also the company "Bau & Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH" from Halle supported our raffle with great prizes. Mr. Oppe from the Sportpark in Halle supported us with various promotional items and also gave VIP vouchers for the Sportpark Halle. Christian Oppe has also been supporting our club for many many years, which we are very grateful for. We also received great vouchers for our raffle from Saale Unstrut Tours. Handballclub Leipzig donated tickets for the women's 2nd Bundesliga for the 2022/2023 season. We would like to thank all donors who supported our raffle with great prizes as well as financially. For our little guests there was a make-up stand, where every child was transformed into a strong tiger or a colorful butterfly. Creativity was in demand at our handicraft stand. Mouth spatulas, paint, pipe cleaners and wiggly eyes were used to make funny mouth spatula animals, and at our button stand the children were able to design their own great badges. The comrades of the Halle-Neustadt youth fire department were on site with a fire engine. The children were able to prove their marksmanship in the can spraying. The firefighters were always available with an open ear for questions about the fire department. This year, for the first time, the Malteser were also on site with their ambulance. We were very happy about that, because the children could ask many questions, see an ambulance from the inside and practice how to put on a bandage. Thank you very much. At the booth of Prof. Dr. Martin Sebastian Staege you could have a look at cancer cells under the microscope. On the stage it went on without a break. The Schochwitzer Tanzmäuse from the Showtanzmäuse e.V. and the carnival club from Zappendorf showed their skills. Then followed the association "Taktgefühl e.V", which has also supported us for many many years. The special feature here is that wheelchair users dance together with people who are not dependent on a wheelchair. This kind of dancing is always very nice to watch. The TanzVerein Langenbogen e.V. enchanted our small and big spectators and also the Countryfreunde Sweet Lake e.V. could be more than seen with their line dance. The SV Blau-Weiß Dölau provided for variety with a sports program and so a small soccer tournament between the SV and the Kinderplaneten took place on the market place in Halle. Our two clinic clowns Ella Propella and Fritzi from Clownsnasen e.V. Leipzig were also involved. They fascinated the children with games, fun and magic. In addition to the various programs, there were also several donations. This year, for example, TSV Lobstädt supported us with a donation of 1111 euros. Mrs. Hinz ceremoniously handed over the donation check and we would like to thank her once again from the bottom of our hearts. The band "Kosmos", which has also been supporting us for many many years and always enriches our stage program, brought our summer festival to a close. Many thanks. A big thank you goes to the company "Ford Autohaus Dienst GmbH" from Weißenfels, which provided us again this year with a free van.
Not only for us it was a successful day. Many guests visited our summer party despite the hot temperatures and spent a great day with us. But what would such a day be without supporters? - Correct, not possible. Therefore, we would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who supported us in advance with donations, to all the volunteers who sacrificed their day off to support our work, to all those who contributed to our perfect stage program and persevered despite the midsummer temperatures, to all the donors and sponsors, simply to everyone who made this day possible.
