The weekend of 27-28.07.2024 was full of emotion. On Saturday, Andreas Domaske was a guest at BSG Chemie Leipzig on behalf of our club. During the half-time break at the match against SV Babelsberg 03, the Leipzig fans handed over a donation cheque for € 4,000 to our CEO. In last season's second-round match, the fans of both clubs donated to our work with the families of children suffering from cancer - a campaign for which we would like to thank everyone involved from the bottom of our hearts.
The action continued on Sunday at the Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark, the home ground of Chemie Leipzig. The 1st Lioness Lotti Memorial Run took place here, in which you could take part in exchange for a donation for our club. We were also there on this day and were overwhelmed by the large number of participants and the commitment of all the people!
A few years ago, we got to know the little lioness Lotti and her family and accompanied them during their difficult time. We were always impressed by the positive strength and power with which the whole family stuck together. This memorial run was therefore a particularly emotional event for us, which we will look back on with tears in our eyes, but also with great gratitude. We can now look forward to seeing how much money was raised.
